Day 6: I can pause before speaking, particularly in moments of redirection. Those of you that have kids...have you noticed that they're amped up when WE'RE amped up...?! I wonder if there's a connection. This one is a real shift for me because I'm a naturally fast talker and quick responder. Baby steps!

I'm the founding music teacher at Monarch Academy Glen Burnie, Maryland, USA. I teach Middle School Band, Orchestra, Chorus, Theater, Music Goes Global 6, and Creative Play.
